A green wine with hints of cannabis
Spanish society Winabis launched a green, low-alcohol, CBD-infused wine with a bold blend of cannabis aromas, which she now sells online for € 16,95 a bottle.
With a maximum alcohol content of 9,5%, the emerald wine is described as moderately mild with peach aromas.
The company's headquarters are in Bodegas Santa Margarita, a producer who is certainly no stranger to colorful wine. Under its labels Pasion Wines, Hoya Hermosa, Nature Blue and Euforia, it produces blue, pink, green and orange wines as well as a sparkling natural blue and frizz blue.
The website notes: "Winabis wine is the result of our experience as winegrowers and our interest in innovating with new types of wines." The product is described as "completely legal" and can be shipped throughout Europe.
A number of beverage companies have also explored the cannabis business, following legalization in Canada on October 17. Among them are Constellation Brands, Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits and Molson Coors.
