£88000 a year to smoke weed all day

POT LUCK is offering £88000 a year to smoke weed all day "best job in the world",? cannabis sommelier but there is a catch

Billed as the most “intoxicating” job on the planet, a company is looking for employees who will be “professional smokers”. A German company has posted a “cannabis sommelier”, offering a salary of up to £88000. The company says it is looking for a budding expert to ensure the quality of its products.

Cannamedical, based in Cologne, sells cannabis to German pharmacies and wants to have the products tested.

CEO David Henn told Bild: “We are looking for someone who continuously monitors the standards of our growers in the sourcing countries of Australia, Canada, Portugal, Macedonia and Denmark.

“Here in Germany, he should also check the quality of the material delivered. »

Cannabis enthusiasts flooded the company with applications for this strange position. But there is a catch: the lucky winner must already be treated with cannabis and be duly registered to be able to smoke legally.

Germany's health minister made headlines last year by proposing the legalization of cannabis for "recreational use".

Karl Lauterbach has unveiled proposals to decriminalize possession of up to 30 grams of cannabis and allow the substance to be sold to adults.

Germany would thus become the second country in the European Union to legalize cannabis after Malta.

According to a survey presented by the official, an estimated 4 million adults use cannabis in Germany.

The herb has been decriminalized for personal use in a number of countries, including the Netherlands and Portugal, which decriminalized the use of all drugs in 2001.

In 2019 an American company published a job paying £3000 a month to smoke their cannabis every day.

American Marijuana said it was looking for someone who “can smoke” but also has “extensive knowledge” about the semi-legal drug.

In their quest for a sample of their products, they even claim to have approached famous smokers like Snoop Dogg.

Dwight Blake, who is coordinating the research, said everyone he's spoken to about the opportunity so far has said, "Count me in! ".

He stated to The Sun  "Everyone is going crazy about smoking weed and getting paid to smoke it just makes it all the more appealing."
