Scott Storch opens drug rehab center after years of sobriety
Scott Storch is responsible for creating some of our favorite hits (50 Cent, Dr. Dre) and has even been a keyboardist for The Roots. The life of the mega-producer was turned upside down in 2006, when he moved to Hollywood, he plunged into excessive drug use, followed a descent into hell that led to his bankruptcy. In 2009 he decided to undergo a detoxification treatment based on cannabis. He is back today for the inauguration ceremony of his new rehabilitation center ”cannabis for healing where cannabis will be the essential element used as therapy to go towards healing.
Scott Storch has been sober for a decade thanks to cannabis and wants to return the device by funding his own rehabilitation center. The musician made the big announcement on Instagram where he shared a clip of the ceremony.

The producer of "Just A Lil Bit" 50 Cent, « Baby Boy By Beyoncé and "Lean Back" by Fat Joe, detailed in 2018 in a documentary "Still Storch ” how he had amassed his fortune through production and how his wealth ultimately led him to loss.
The Heavenly Center is an alcohol and drug addiction rehab facility located in Studio City, California and uses a unique model of cannabis therapy as part of its healing and recovery structure. The center also offers courses in music production, instruments, internet and radio broadcasting, light therapy, food and medicine. Together with his partner Steve Label, he hopes to end the stigma surrounding cannabis use.
