In addition, in Portugal the standards required for the cultivation and production of medical cannabis are less strict than in these countries. Most importantly, the costs of land, equipment and labor are much lower there.
Under the new law, companies can cultivate, produce and produce cannabis and its products for commercial purposes and for sale to pharmacies.
