In South Africa, two catering chains have created a new range of pizzas at Dagga

With the changes in law, Col'Cacchio, one of the largest Italian-inspired restaurant franchise groups, has just announced the launch of South Africa's very first line of Cannabis pizzas, which will be available in select locations. Col'Cacchio restaurants from today, June 25, 2019.

Following the historic announcement made in recent weeks by the Department of Health, Cannabidiol (CBD) can now be legally purchased in South Africa. Col'Cacchio and africanpure wereted no time working tirelessly behind the scenes to get ahead of the history of cannabis in South Africa.

Col'Cacchio continues to strengthen its presence as one of the most innovative restaurant brands in South Africa, with healthy cuisine at the heart of its offering. The brand was one of the first to introduce gluten-free, low-calorie, banting / carb-aware and vegan alternatives to its menu, and will now be the first restaurant brand to offer cannabis.

The Col'Cacchio menu will include two gourmet Cannabis-inspired pizzas, Green Goddess (pictured above) and Mary Jane (if below), which will retail. Both iconic pizzas will be drizzled with pure African CBD oil that does not contain THC or synthetic chemicals, making it absolutely safe to enjoy. Guests can also add CBD oil to any other dish on the Col'Cacchio menu for an additional charge.

The new line of Cannabis pizzas will be available in all Col'Cacchio restaurants, except halal restaurants.
