Weed Infused Hot Apple Cider Recipe
Christmas is approaching with its very cold weather, we have concocted an autumn recipe to warm you up and put a smile on your face this winter. Usually hot cider is flavored with rum but adding cannabis butter will surprise you and revive your taste buds, here is the recipe.
- Half a liter of apple cider
- 100g unsalted butter (coconut oil is a good vegan alternative)
- 75g of brown sugar
- 1 and a half teaspoons of ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 / 8 teaspoon of salt
- Cinnamon sticks (optional)
- 3 to 5 grams of ground heads
- a liter of water
- As much rum as your heart desires but keep it reasonable, recommended dose 30cl.
- 1 saucepan
- 1 cheesecloth where a small fine cloth
- 1 fine Chinese strainer.
- 1 wooden spoon
For this recipe you will first need to prepare your Butter as follows :
Decarboxylate your weed 20 minutes in the oven at low temperature (90 °)
In your saucepan, boil the liter of water and off the heat, add your fresh butter. Return the mixture to a boil, then add the ground ganja, then let simmer, stirring regularly, taking care not to burn your mixture, especially not to heat too much. After a good half hour, even 45 minutes, remove the mixture from the heat and then filter it in a bowl using your strainer (Chinese). Put the bowl in your refrigerator to cool, so that the butter will float to the top. After a few hours, remove the now solid ganja butter from the water, put it in cheesecloth to absorb the remaining water.
Next step :
All you have to do is bring the cider to a boil over medium heat. Then lower your heat to low and stir in your weed butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and salt. Simmer gently until the butter and sugar are well melted and incorporated. Remove your saucepan from the heat and add the desired alcohol.
Serve in cider bowls or pretty balloon glasses. You can also garnish them with a cinnamon stick, if you wish.
Like all alcoholic drinks, drink in moderation, the effect of your cider will also depend on the quality of your weed, so be careful.
