High Times hosts the Cannabis Cup every year, a gathering where cups and prizes are awarded to the best products in the cannabis industry. The 2018 Cannabis Cup which took place in Sacramento has just rewarded the best buds from the cultivation and industry of cannabis.

High Times selects judges, from nominations submitted worldwide, as experts and professionals in the cannabis industry. In addition, the best strains are judged on complex criteria which include laboratory analysis of THC and CBD levels. Thus, the judges seek to reward the aroma, taste, appearance, consistency and impact of the selected buds. The judges of the Cannabis Cup 2018 have just released their verdict in the CBD, Indica and Sativa categories, as well as in the Hybrid and Sungrow category:
